I was born and raised as a Miami-native with firm roots in our community. From a very young age I developed a passion for the law. My father, Charles Appel, Esq. served the South Florida community for over 50 years with his concentration in Personal Injury. I watched as he fought for justice for those individuals who were wronged by other individuals and businesses. I spent countless hours at his office learning from him. I had the privilege of meeting and speaking with his clients and learning how his advocacy for them made a difference in their lives. My mother, Jennifer Appel, RN., serves our community as a Registered Nurse to this very day. I credit her as the building block for my passion and understanding for medicine by using it to assist our clients on their road to recovery. I am married to the love of my life Alexandra, my soul mate, and together we have 4 children: Ella, Valentina, Luca and Catalina. My family means the world to me and I consider my clients’ extensions of my family.
I attended High School at Florida Air Academy, a military preparatory school in Melbourne, Florida and later graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School in 2000. As a student-athlete, I lettered in both Football and Baseball. Our 1998 Baseball team even won a Florida Class 3A State Title against Gulliver Prep School. I attended both Miami-Dade College and Florida International University where I graduated with my Associate in Science Degree and Bachelors in Science Degree. I attended Law School at Southern Illinois University where I earned my Juris Doctorate graduating in the top 25% of my class.
When I tell you I have stood in your shoes I mean it! I was involved in life changing automobile accidents in 2000 and in 2013. I suffered spinal injuries, underwent rehabilitation, injections, and even surgery to my neck to repair the damage caused to it by these accidents. These experiences have shaped the way I practice as well as the manner in which I educate and guide my clients. I know because I have been there and I understand more than most attorneys because I have experienced what you are going through.
I firmly believe that success is measured by restoring your health the best way we can, managing your medical needs and expenses, and ultimately obtaining justice that you are satisfied with. You are looking for answers and it is our job at Appel Law to provide you with them.
